Last week Plyvine were privileged to be caterers at the Staffordshire business awards dinner. This high profile event was attended by 420 guests and hosted at the Stafford Showground. With the emphasis being on Staffordshire businesses it was only natural the menu followed a local theme.
The starter consisted of a goats cheese and tomato salad with walnuts and honey and mustard dressing served with local artisan bread. The goats cheese was sourced from the award winning local Inne’s goat cheese dairy. The main course consisted of slow roasted leg of lamb which was sourced from Leek and the surrounding areas by Staffordshire Meat packers. The dessert consisted of local strawberries served with a local vanilla bean ice cream.
