We had the pleasure of catering for a lovely weddi We had the pleasure of catering for a lovely wedding at Wombourne Civic Centre on Saturday 💍🥂 The room looked fabulous, with some beautiful décor provided by the couple’s chosen venue decorators, creating a lovely setting for their special day. At Plyvine Catering, we provided a three-course wedding breakfast with drinks, as well as a full bar service. We also operate the bar at Wombourne Civic Centre, allowing us to provide a complete catering and bar service for weddings at the venue. The starter was our Minestrone Soup, carefully prepared to be suitable for a range of dietary requirements, including vegan guests. For the main course, the groom got his wish – a traditional wedding carvery! 🍽️ Guests enjoyed mature roast English topside of beef and roast turkey, served with all the traditional trimmings, vegetables, and potatoes. We also provided children’s meals and catered for guests with special dietary requirements. To finish, the adults enjoyed apple pie, while the children tucked into profiteroles. Wedding Catering at Malthouse Barn, Shrewsbury - S Wedding Catering at Malthouse Barn, Shrewsbury - Shropshire ​ We had the pleasure of catering a lovely wedding at the fabulous Malthouse Barn near Shrewsbury this weekend. It's always a joy to return to Malthouse Barn — stunning venue, lovely owners, and air conditioning, which was a godsend for our team on another hot day! ​ What we provided: Canapés for the drinks reception outside after the ceremony, followed by speeches and then a wedding breakfast cooked fresh on-site from our mobile kitchen. We had the pleasure of providing catering @burwart We had the pleasure of providing catering @burwartonshow in the members' marquee last week. We had a 5am start to be all set up and ready for breakfast service. Lots of full English breakfasts served as well as bacon and sausage rolls. Then, on to lunch with the cold buffet again, proving popular as well as lots of pork rolls, gourmet burgers, and snacks. It was nice to see some of our Ludlow racecourse customers there, as well as a visit from Simon and Lucy Sherwood. It is a lovely show and well worth a visit if you haven’t been.

The couple opted for an informal style with delicious sharing platters, including ciabatta, chicken skewers, houmous, baby herb and garlic potatoes, roasted vegetables, and cheese platters with biscuits. We also offered a hot buffet station featuring Spanish chicken, Beef Chilli with Rice, and a vegetarian option. The marquee looked fabulous, and the weather was glorious! 💍 A Wonderful Wedding at Park Hall Farm We wer 💍 A Wonderful Wedding at Park Hall Farm We were delighted to be back catering at Park Hall Farm for another lovely wedding celebration. The guests enjoyed a delicious three-course wedding breakfast with a choice menu, with a fantastic selection of main courses including: Roast Beef with Yorkshire Pudding Slow Braised Belly Pork with Cider & Mustard Sauce Chicken Breast with Smoked Bacon & Shallots and red wine jus. We also catered for 13 children, with their own selection of meals, followed by chocolate fudge cake for dessert. For the adults, dessert was a choice of Chocolate Tart or Baked Cheesecake with Blueberry Compote. It was lovely to receive so much positive feedback from the couple and their guests on the day. For us, that’s always one of the best parts of catering a wedding. Park Hall Farm is now under new management, so we’d like to wish the new team the very best of luck for the future. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed working at Park Hall and hope to be back. ✨ A Beautiful Summer Wedding at Stanford Farm ✨ We were delighted to be back with the wonderful team at Stanford Farm for another glorious summer wedding. Guests were welcomed with a selection of freshly prepared hot and cold canapés, including honey & mustard sausages, asparagus wrapped in Parma ham, pesto mozzarella & Mediterranean vegetable bruschetta, and the very popular potato croquettes served with sweet chilli dip. For the wedding breakfast, we served a fresh tomato & mozzarella salad, followed by chicken filled with spinach and Shropshire Blue cheese, alongside carefully prepared children's meals and special dietary options. To finish, guests enjoyed a rich chocolate & salted caramel tart – the perfect end to the meal. Everything was cooked fresh on-site from our new mobile kitchen, ensuring every dish reached guests at its very best. We were thrilled to receive fantastic feedback both on the day and afterwards from the groom, which always means so much to our team. Three fantastic events rounded off a busy week for Three fantastic events rounded off a busy week for the Plyvine Catering team, showcasing the variety of catering services we provide across Worcestershire, Staffordshire, Wombourne, Stourbridge and the surrounding West Midlands. On Friday we were delighted to provide catering for a Google corporate event at Wombourne Civic Centre. Guests enjoyed freshly brewed tea and coffee with pastries on arrival, followed by a delicious buffet lunch, mini cakes, and refreshments throughout the day. Whether it's a business meeting, conference or corporate hospitality event, our flexible catering packages can be tailored to suit every occasion. We also had the pleasure of catering a beautiful wedding at Stourbridge Rugby Club. Guests enjoyed a choice of two-course served menu, including Chicken Breast with leeks and smoked bacon, or traditional Beef Bourguignon, both served with dauphinoise potatoes, baby herb roasted potatoes and seasonal vegetables. Desserts included warm glazed apple tart or baked cheesecake with raspberries and compote, both served with ice cream, followed by freshly brewed coffee. Last but certainly not least, we helped some wonderful clients in Clent, Worcestershire, celebrate a special 70th birthday. Guests were welcomed with Prosecco before enjoying one of our popular hot fork buffets for 80 guests – the perfect choice for an informal party or family celebration. We had great feedback and were delighted to get an excellent Google review! ✨✨ A wonderful wedding at RAF Cosford ✨ It ✨✨ A wonderful wedding at RAF Cosford ✨ It was a real privilege to cater for a very special wedding recently at the Mess at RAF Cosford. The happy couple were already familiar faces to us through the many events we've catered at Cosford over the years and had also chosen Plyvine Catering previously, so it was an honour to be trusted with such an important day. We served a delicious three-course wedding breakfast for 135 guests, with the main course traditionally silver served by our team. The slow braised free-range belly pork proved to be a huge favourite, while the groom's chosen cheesecake was the perfect way to finish the meal and was enjoyed by everyone. As the celebrations continued into the evening, we provided a finger buffet for 250 guests, helping to keep everyone fuelled for a fantastic night of dancing and celebration. Receiving so many lovely compliments from the couple and their guests made the day even more special. What a fantastic day at Newport Show on Saturday! ☀️ We were delighted to be back providing members' catering at Newport Show, as well as being proud sponsors of this wonderful annual agricultural event. The day started bright and early with freshly prepared breakfast rolls and hot drinks, alongside a special breakfast served for one of the show's sponsors. As the day warmed up, our catering team kept everyone well fed with a delicious cold buffet lunch featuring pink roast beef, poached salmon, honey baked ham and tandoori chicken, accompanied by a selection of fresh salads, breads and hot potatoes. Our ever-popular roast pork rolls and gourmet burgers were also in high demand throughout the day, keeping visitors fuelled as they enjoyed everything Newport Show had to offer. Another unforgettable Shropshire wedding for the P Another unforgettable Shropshire wedding for the Plyvine Catering team! 💍☀️ We had the pleasure of providing wedding catering in Aston on Clun, South Shropshire, and what a spectacular day it was. When we arrived, we genuinely thought we'd pulled up at a brand-new luxury wedding venue! The bride's family had transformed their agricultural barn into the most stunning wedding reception space, with breathtaking countryside views providing the perfect backdrop. Guests enjoyed refreshing Pimm's on arrival alongside a selection of delicious handmade canapés. Our ever-popular mini Yorkshire puddings with roast beef & horseradish and cod goujons with lemon mayonnaise were definite favourites. The 130 guests then sat down to a beautifully presented cold summer wedding menu, perfect for the glorious weather, before choosing between a refreshing lemon tart or indulgent chocolate torte to finish. It was a privilege to be part of such a special celebration, and we'd like to thank the happy couple and their families for choosing Plyvine Catering.
