Three fantastic events rounded off a busy week for Three fantastic events rounded off a busy week for the Plyvine Catering team, showcasing the variety of catering services we provide across Worcestershire, Staffordshire, Wombourne, Stourbridge and the surrounding West Midlands. On Friday we were delighted to provide catering for a Google corporate event at Wombourne Civic Centre. Guests enjoyed freshly brewed tea and coffee with pastries on arrival, followed by a delicious buffet lunch, mini cakes, and refreshments throughout the day. Whether it's a business meeting, conference or corporate hospitality event, our flexible catering packages can be tailored to suit every occasion. We also had the pleasure of catering a beautiful wedding at Stourbridge Rugby Club. Guests enjoyed a choice of two-course served menu, including Chicken Breast with leeks and smoked bacon, or traditional Beef Bourguignon, both served with dauphinoise potatoes, baby herb roasted potatoes and seasonal vegetables. Desserts included warm glazed apple tart or baked cheesecake with raspberries and compote, both served with ice cream, followed by freshly brewed coffee. Last but certainly not least, we helped some wonderful clients in Clent, Worcestershire, celebrate a special 70th birthday. Guests were welcomed with Prosecco before enjoying one of our popular hot fork buffets for 80 guests – the perfect choice for an informal party or family celebration. We had great feedback and were delighted to get an excellent Google review! ✨✨ A wonderful wedding at RAF Cosford ✨ It ✨✨ A wonderful wedding at RAF Cosford ✨ It was a real privilege to cater for a very special wedding recently at the Mess at RAF Cosford. The happy couple were already familiar faces to us through the many events we've catered at Cosford over the years and had also chosen Plyvine Catering previously, so it was an honour to be trusted with such an important day. We served a delicious three-course wedding breakfast for 135 guests, with the main course traditionally silver served by our team. The slow braised free-range belly pork proved to be a huge favourite, while the groom's chosen cheesecake was the perfect way to finish the meal and was enjoyed by everyone. As the celebrations continued into the evening, we provided a finger buffet for 250 guests, helping to keep everyone fuelled for a fantastic night of dancing and celebration. Receiving so many lovely compliments from the couple and their guests made the day even more special. What a fantastic day at Newport Show on Saturday! ☀️ We were delighted to be back providing members' catering at Newport Show, as well as being proud sponsors of this wonderful annual agricultural event. The day started bright and early with freshly prepared breakfast rolls and hot drinks, alongside a special breakfast served for one of the show's sponsors. As the day warmed up, our catering team kept everyone well fed with a delicious cold buffet lunch featuring pink roast beef, poached salmon, honey baked ham and tandoori chicken, accompanied by a selection of fresh salads, breads and hot potatoes. Our ever-popular roast pork rolls and gourmet burgers were also in high demand throughout the day, keeping visitors fuelled as they enjoyed everything Newport Show had to offer. A huge thank you to our incredible Plyvine Catering team, who worked tirelessly in the summer heat to deliver another successful event and to everyone at Newport Show for inviting us back again. When we arrived, we genuinely thought we'd pulled up at a brand-new luxury wedding venue! The bride's family had transformed their agricultural barn into the most stunning wedding reception space, with breathtaking countryside views providing the perfect backdrop. Guests enjoyed refreshing Pimm's on arrival alongside a selection of delicious handmade canapés. Our ever-popular mini Yorkshire puddings with roast beef & horseradish and cod goujons with lemon mayonnaise were definite favourites. The 130 guests then sat down to a beautifully presented cold summer wedding menu, perfect for the glorious weather, before choosing between a refreshing lemon tart or indulgent chocolate torte to finish. It was a lengthy process buying the vehicle, all the kitchen equipment, designing it, and then getting it built! 🎉 School Prom Catering at Stafford Showground 🎉 Last week we had the pleasure of returning to Stafford Showground to provide catering for another fantastic school prom. This year the school chose a more relaxed, informal dining experience instead of a traditional served meal, making one of our hot fork buffet menus the perfect choice. Guests enjoyed a delicious selection including: 🍛 Chef's recipe chicken curry with rice and mini naan breads 🌶️ Homemade beef chilli served with rice and soured cream 🍝 Roasted pepper & mozzarella pasta bake with herb roasted potatoes and seasonal vegetables Dessert was equally popular, with guests choosing between our indulgent chocolate & salted caramel tart and white chocolate & raspberry cheesecake. Our first time wedding catering at Quaint Country Our first time wedding catering at Quaint Country Weddings, Shropshire... and what a venue! 🤍 Set in the stunning Shropshire countryside with breathtaking views, it was the perfect setting for a beautiful wedding. Guests enjoyed a selection of canapés on arrival, including our famous mini Yorkshire puddings with roast beef & horseradish, alongside cod goujons, bruschetta, and asparagus with smoked salmon. The sunshine called for a relaxed summer wedding breakfast of pink English roast beef, honey-baked gammon, fresh salads, and new potatoes, followed by a delicious trio of desserts that went down a treat. RAF Cosford is one of our most prestigious events RAF Cosford is one of our most prestigious events of the year, so to get such great feedback from the 2026 show really made our day! The event hospitality takes considerable planning, and the show day is a long day with a very early start. It requires a real team effort to make things run smoothly, especially with a lot of last-minute changes. Many thanks to our entire team and all at the Airshow for having us again in 2026.

Set in a beautiful rural location, Upper Meadow Barn provided the perfect setting for the wedding celebration of a wonderful couple. It was great to be back at Ludlow Racecourse on Sa It was great to be back at Ludlow Racecourse on Saturday to cater for the 80th Anniversary of Brown Clee football club. The celebration was held in the Windsor marquee with dinner,awards followed by a live band and partying! We had lots of great feedback on the night with the beef, in particular, proving a big hit! On Friday, we catered for the first time at Dudley On Friday, we catered for the first time at Dudley Kingswinford Rugby Club for their sportsmen's lunch. The event was held in a marquee at the club with speakers, ex-England rugby duo Ben Youngs, and Dan Cole. Plyvine provided a served three-course lunch, all cooked fresh on-site in our mobile kitchens. The event was a great success, and we had a lot of great feedback. This week, we had the pleasure of catering another This week, we had the pleasure of catering another wonderful top table lunch at RAF Cosford. A formal, served three-course lunch was followed by coffee. A melon and Parma ham started the meal, with a choice of main course and cheesecake to follow. We had lovely feedback on the day and were delighted to get a thank you email the very next day!
