Plyvine had the pleasure to cater for a lovely Christmas wedding toward the end of December. The wedding was held in a marquee in Staffordshire which looked absolutely lovely thanks to our friends Mercia Marquees who we have had the pleasure of working with a number of times this year.

The guests had a Homemade Tomato and basil soup to start which was ideal to help warm the guests on their arrival. The main course was extra matured English Sirloin of Beef with a Burgundy and shallot sauce served with vegetables and potatoes. This was followed by a dessert of  a profiterole stack with chocolate sauce and then Coffee and mints.

For the evening food the clients did not want the traditional buffet style food and instead asked to have either bacon or fish fingers served hot on freshly baked rolls. This proved a wise choice with the fish finger rolls proving a big hit with the 180 or so evening guests.
