It’s that time of year again (can you believe it?)

It has to be said that 2018 has been a fabulous year for us at Plyvine. We’ve loved all the events we’ve been proud to cater for, and we’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who has been involved.

If you haven’t already, head over to our reviews page to see what our lovely clients have been saying about us throughout the year.

The chimes of Big Ben are upon us, the fizz is flowing, and the sweet smell of a fresh start is closer than ever.

And, of course, Jools Holland’s annual Hootenanny is playing in the background as we phone relatives in faraway places.

Mum’s doing a headcount to ensure everyone’s present for Auld Lang Sine, and the strange in-laws you only see at special occasions are demanding a chorus of ‘white rabbits, white rabbits, white rabbits’ as soon as the clock strikes 12.

And when it does, you conga out the front door and return through the back, cursing the freezing weather.

Though a lot of us would like to think we’re hardly superstitious, our New Year’s Eve celebrations are full of rituals and customs that we swear by.

However we will greet 2019, it’s a tradition that we hold dear to us, and we wouldn’t change a single thing.

Take a look at our infographic to see how our friends around the world bring in the New Year.

And have a wonderful New Year yourselves, from us all at Plyvine.
