We were delighted to be the caterers at the Stafford showground for the Staffordshire Agricultural Society dinner. The dinner was held in one of the lovely function suites at the showground. The bar was operated by Rachel and her team at Pegasus Hospitality with Plyvine looking after the food side of things.
The chosen menu included a Dill cured Smoked Salmon with green salad and crème fraiche or Pate with red onion confit and mixed leaves. The main course was a herb crusted Rack of Lamb with Dauphinoise potatoes, Roasted Vegetables, Green Beans and Honey Glazed Carrots. The dessert was an assiette of deserts featuring a chocolate and peppermint torte, lemon cheesecake and Clotted cream Ice cream with black cherries and Brandy. For those that could manage it there was also a cheese buffet!
Everything went really well and it was lovely to receive an email from a guest who as obviously impressed!
