Last week we catered for two Ascot Ladies days in marquees at two separate venues in the West Midlands.
One was held in Tamworth and consisted of a cold carved buffet with dessert and coffee and then a traditional afternoon tea. As you can see the event received some praise on twitter from our friends at Mercia Marquees.

The second event held near Wolverhampton was for 400 guests and again they opted for a cold summery style menu but served to the table. Poached Salmon, sugar glazed Ham loins and bright fresh summer salads and hot new potatoes were well received by the guests. They also had an afternoon tea featuring traditional scones with jam and clotted cream, finger sandwiches and a selection of mini cakes and pastries.

Both events were blessed with good weather which meant the glamorous ladies could enjoy drinks on arrival outside.
